Baby Shower Brunching

This time it was my turn to design and plan a baby shower for a very special niece or nephew to be.  I pulled inspiration from the Pottery Barn animal bedding the sweet soon to be mommy and daddy selected and incorporated through the design.

Custom illustrated a pregnant mommy for the invitation and used the shapes to create a shower welcome sign on my Silhouette as well as other decorations.  Also created my interpretation of the Pottery Barn Animals that became a permanent fixture in the nursery (upcoming post!).

Sugar, spice and everything nice

Such a fun color combination for a soon to be baby girl!  In addition to the color scheme and chevron pattern, used my silhouette to cut out a custom drawn stroller for a special touch.  Shelia, thank you so much for asking me to create your friends baby shower invitations, hope everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the nail polish favors!

Randi Baby Shower Invite

Such a small world, and so glad that I was able to reconnect with an old college friend.  Randi, thank you so  much for reaching out to me, it was so great to catch up and collaborate with you!  Next time we make it to Spring Training we will absolutely have to get together!

Also, congratulations on your pregnancy, how exciting!  Love the theme of baby makes 3 and pre-ordering matching Thank You's...such a great idea!

Just looked at your photos from the special day and your baby shower looks like so much fun an you look absolutely amazing.....so excited for you and your growing family!

Baby Raineri

A baby boy is on his way....can't wait to meet Baby Raineri!  Heather and Bobby had their shower this past weekend and we had so much fun celebrating with them :-)

Created shower invitations with a Bears theme to match Baby Raineri's Nursery.

Created a Bears Onesie card for Heather and Bobby as part of our gift to the new parents-to-be!

Favors looked awesome, Jaclyn had me print up 1.5" tags and she adhered them to bags of popcorn, love the idea!

And lastly, created a onesie collection for Baby Raineri so we can watch him grow!

Baby Shower Invitations

A  college friend contacted me to make custom baby shower invites.  She wanted something simple and classy....so we started by looking at the guest of honor'a nursery design for inspiration.  Additionally, she had a cute limerick to incorporate within the invitations as well.

We settled on using gray and yellow to match the nursery and I created simple illustrations of a mommy and baby elephant and a mommy and baby giraffe that looked similar to art that will be displayed in the baby's room.  Also, given the limerick was a bit longer, we created a 2nd page with an "open me" statement and rounded the corner of the paper to illustrate something was underneath.
