Dougie Love

Can this family get any cuter?  Dougie is the sweetest doggie ever, all it took was a squeaky toy and perfection!  My only challenge was to maneuver the camera while squeezing the toy at the same time.  Took some practice, but definitely got the hang of it {I may consider this tactic for my boys in the future}.

Annie, thank you so  much for having me photograph your family, I LOVED the way they turned and hope you do too!  The outfits looked amazing all the way to Dougie's bow tie.  It was also great to see your neighborhood, new home and spend some time together outside of the office.  Hope everyone liked your holiday cards and pictures…..see you next year!

Nursery Elephant Prints

A quick break from family photo sessions for a quick personal blog post.  After celebrating just over one year in our new home….it is fitting to rewind back to the boys room design as it was one of my favorites to decorate.  Prior to moving the boys did not have a room of their own, which made it extra special for our 2 cuties.

We painted the walls gray and decided on light blue and navy blue accents.  The boys each received a cute stuffed animal elephant when they were born and we were inspired to carry that theme throughout the room.

The one thing we could not find was a print to put on the walls over their beds.  After a ton of research, I decided to illustrate something personal from 'mommy' and made an elephant that characterized each of their personalities. Caleb our jumping bean and Christian calm and happy boy.

And last but not least, the rocking chair my mom had in our house when we were all babies to compete their room!

Up next, given the boys were 6 months when we moved in our new home….we quickly converted to a baseball room prior to their 1st birthday…..likely a year from now I will share the current sports theme illustrations hanging  up now!  Until next time…..

Picture Perfect

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  I know we sure did:-)

Picking up my design computer for the first time in a couple days and having so much fun coordinating the remaining blog posts from my mini-holiday photo sessions.  Each family so unique and wonderful to collaborate with in their own way.

Love watching my friend's sweet little girl grow up.  She is such a cutie and loves posing for the camera…each picture cuter than the next!  Hope everyone enjoyed the photographs and your family Christmas card!  xoxo
