Fall Family Fun

Still catching up, and it will be a bit longer until I get current (especially with invitations), but I could not miss this post as it was too cute not to share.

A sweet, and quick photoshoot from this past fall of some very special peeps in my life.  The best part of all, my kiddos came along to get their sweet cousin to smile followed by a trip to the zoo....all in all a special day!

Summer Evening Sessions

Thank you everyone for being so patient while I've been taking a much needed break from designing and photography to catch up on many items.

I've decided it's about time to slowly pick back up on what makes me happy and that is helping you all capture memories.

While I'm still not ready to 100% come back, I've been very inspired and excited lately from partaking in my first shoot along that I'm excited to announce I'm back up and running from the photography side of my business and offering summer evening "Small Family and Children" sessions.

A 2 year old cutie

Love doing in-home sessions with children, especially in the winter.  While organizing my files, I realized I never posted pictures from back in November of Harrison for his 2nd birthday.

I was able to experience a few hours with Harrison traveling all through his house learning about his favorite baseball team, go-to toys, playroom and sweet puppy.  All in all a great day!

Stacie, thank you for asking me to captures these memories of your sweet nephew!

The boys turn 3!

This past May the boys turned 3 and I can't believe how quickly they are growing up.  It's amazing to see their personalities shine and of course their friendship for each other....they truly are best of friends!  

First things first, we have almost mastered when I get the camera out to look and smile.  But either way love capturing them in everything they do {which requires the fastest shutter speed}.  The boys enjoy going to school together, riding their balance bikes and scooters, watching Paw Patrol, playing super heroes, celebrating everybody's birthday, playing 'I spy' and roll call in the car.....and their favorite game of all time hide and seek.

This summer we are trying our first activity, T-Ball, they have been so busy this past year tagging along to their sister's gymnastics, swimming and dance....it was definitely time.  Also, we were a bit behind in getting them big boy beds, but @ 3 years 2 months it's complete and they are doing great!  They love wishing everyone goodnight and reminding us that Mommy, Daddy, Kyleigh and each other are all of their best friends.....such a sweet memory that makes me so happy!  

Love our boys and can't wait to see what the year of 3 brings for us!

Also could not help but include this behind the scenes picture of my sweet mom helping me capture special memories of the boys the day before their 3rd birthday.  It's a bit challenging to play mom and photographer, I am so lucky and appreciative she was able to join and help!

Rewinding back to Brooke's 6th months....I'm catching up on my posts considering we just completed her first birthday photos.  These are too cute not to share!

A first birthday celebration

So many first birthday shoots and I love it...this session in particular for a very special little boy in my life turned 1 this past January!  Michael's bedroom made a perfect backdrop for some very special pictures with his mommy, daddy, colorful balloons and of course an awesome smash cake!

And like they say....'it's not a first birthday celebration until you get blue frosting stuck between the hardwood floors' - wait they don't say that?!?
